Fashion week, it is the time of thrills, frills, avant garde, over the top fashion.  However, once the oohs and aahhs are done, those same unique fashionable pieces of art must be whittled down to something more palatable for the average person.  So why do fashion designers spend so much energy on creations for this event that most likely will only be seen once in a lifetime?  Well, it’s for the sake of the art, the artistic spirit, the creativity from within--where else would these talented people be able to shine.


          

When creative people identify a vision, that vision must be played out to the artist’s specifications without fail.  
Moreover, many artists are very particular about their work to the degree of not sharing their artwork until it is completely finish. Fashion Designers and Graphic Designers are no different.  The creative process is a very intricate affair of which may include false starts in one direction and end up going in another direction to complete the artistic vision.  A mistake could end up becoming a brilliant idea. Fashion Designers, who are able to take that mistake and turn it into that brilliant idea, are beyond gifted.  Gifted as such, they are able to fulfill their artistic vision through being technically inclined as well as creative, and these are the Fashion Designers who are the growing artistic voice in the fashion industry today.
